Is Industry Experience Required For The Franchise I'm Interested In?

In general, industry experience is not required. In fact, there are some franchisors that would prefer their new franchisees have no related experience. That way they can be trained and immersed, if you will, in the policies and procedures of the respective franchisor. However, that is not to say that industry experience would be looked on unfavorably, but more so to explain that it is not a requirement for many franchisors.
